Everyone needs to be praying for all sinners and our country.
Why would God NOT use women? He used them all through the Bible. I believe that God would want to use anyone who would be used. The scripture in the Bible referring to women being silent refers to a time when women and men sat on separate sides of the church, and women were hollering across to their husbands asking them what was said. Women were not educated at that time. Also, with the need to spread the Gospel, God will use anything. He once even used a donkey.
I personally think that women have the right to be the pastor of a church. However, on the other hand, the SBC is a privately funded organization and has every right to disagree. We live in a country where we all have the right to disagree, and Praise God for that. Otherwise, we would be forced to believe and worship according to the beliefs of our leaders. I don’t like it because the SBC refuses to sell the publication, but they have just as much freedom to their opinion as everyone else in our great nation.
