After performing for 14 years asan award wining Elvis Tribute Artist I surrendered to the Gospel Music Ministry . For years I performed fundraising
concerts for non-profit organizations where I donated the concert 100% for the
cause.
By donating 100% the concerts were limited to local needs in Jacksonville
Florida. Reuters came in for an international press release about the fundraising
concerts.
In hearing about the Greenes in concert for a special cause I didn’t know if there
is a standard where expenses are paid for their travel, if the concerts are always
giving 100% of the ticket sales to the charity?
My past of avoiding nightclubs, Vegas, and performing in clean family venues
still caused a flurry with the 1959 pink liom, the bodyguards, and the $1000.00
Jumpsuits.
I was hired by Southern Baptist Churches, Bible Baptist and Methodists Churches to sing for their seniors in the fellowship hall. When I became under
the conviction of the Holy Spirit that my sining no longer needed to entertain dinner shows, television commericals, and corporate shows, trade shows and conventions that the songs needed to uplift JESUS CHRIST as the KING OF KINGS and with this burden to see lost souls saved I need some prayers in
how to get the new music ministry going.
Thanks for your time and please pray for the trasformation that God is taking me through.
GOD BLESS
Tony Terry
