Brother Charles,
“What Children Believe”, was an immediate add for Gospel Sunday with Miles Thomas here on KZHE-FM in Magnolia, AR. Serving the Arklatex, Gold City has always been a favorite group, and heavily requested.

Here at WHPO, Hoopeston, IL - I play it on the Sacred Sounds of Gospel. This is such a simple song that packs a powerful message. It lets us know how far away from center we have moved. Once again we see that wrongs now are made to seem right and the right are so unusual that they appear to be wrong. My program is aired weekly and is 3 hours and I have aired this song every Sunday since first hearing it and every time I find myself lost in its simple message of deep seeded truth.

Dear Charles,
I play “What Children Believe” by Gold City on my show quite often. My show here on WEKZ in Monroe,Wi, and my show on KFTI in Wichita, Ks. are both Sunday morning shows. That is such a powerful song. If we adults would only live by those words we would have a much better world. I appreciate the music Radio Active Airplay provides for me and my listeners.
God bless you,

This song is fantastic. It not only describes what I believed when I was running around the yard playing, but it also accurately depicts what we should believe in as adults as well. This song is also a great reminder of the simple faith of children. Jesus said that unless we come with the faith of a child, we cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Please tell Gold City to keep up the good work.

I included “What Children Believe” when it first came out. It’s a child like song that takes our listeners back to when they were young. Excellent song by a good group.
Honored to be His servant,

This is a great message song and I hope it makes people think! If we would only consider the consequences before making selfish decisions as those mentioned in this song. Society just does not “work” when we do not live according to God’s laws.

Mr. Brady,
I play the song “What Children Believe” by Gold City. I think it’s a very powerful song with a wonderful message. We need to put it to use in our deteriorating society. We aren’t going to have a country before long if we don’t change the ways of doing things. God bless Gold City for recording such a powerful song and God bless you and your efforts with Radio Active Airplay. I use it all the time.
Merry Christmas to you and yours and have a wonderful prosperous and Happy New Year.

Hi Charles:
Yes, I added Gold City’s song when it first came out when you released it to your RAA member DJs. The lyrics connected with me that we as a nation desperately need to get back to some of those basic biblical concepts that depicts “a child-like faith”. The song is still listed on my playlist and remains getting strong ratings with my listeners up here in north country.
What would our family structure as a nation be if Moms and Dads stayed together, cheaters never win and promises are something you keep. Moral concepts of It’s bad to lie, and OK to cry, dreams never die and faith is all you need.
My thought as a takeoff on the song title was … Wouldn’t it be amazing if grownups believed what children believe ?
God bless you my friend, and all you do for the industry. Thank God for Gold City and their ministry. The other song that they do that too delivers a powerful message is “Preach the Word”. May we all hold onto that command and be diligent with proclaiming the gospel message till Christ returns for all HIS redeemed.

You know the saying, “I wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then”? “What Children Believe” is a great reminder of how simple the faith of a child is, and how, as adults, we have become so calloused by the world around us. How awesome would our world be if we still believe as we did as children?
