Jennifer Grissop Releases First Single to Radio
April 17, 2008
Travelers Rest, SC (April 17th, 2007) Jennifer Grissop Ministries is pleased to announce the release of Jennifer’s first single to national radio from her newly released project “Wrapped In Love.” The single is now available to radio through Radioactive Airplay ( http:www.radioactiveairplay.com ) for downloading by DJs and Program Music Directors & Radio Show Hosts.
“Wrapped In Love” is a song that was penned by Jennifer shortly after the adoption of her first child. The song expresses the tremendous joy and overwhelming love that a young mother experiences after learning that she is about to adopt her first child. At the age of 21 Jennifer was diagnosed with a condition that meant she would never be able to bear a child. According to Charles Brady of Radioactive Airplay, “When I asked Jennifer about the range of emotions that she went through after learning she would not be able to have children, she told me she experienced everything from deep sadness & hurt to being angry with God. So angry in fact that for several months the young couple even left their church. After about 6 months the Lord began to deal with the couple as they made their way back into the family of faith. Jennifer is a real testimony to love and sustaining grace that the Lord gives to each of us, His adopted children. I could tell as I spoke with her that she has a real passion and a tremendous ministry to those who are from families of adoptions.” Charles added, “And if you love powerful, soulful, country gospel ballads this is one that you will have to hear! Jennifer has a wonderful voice and you just know that she means every word she is singing. I hope to see this song not only played on Gospel & Christian stations but this would make a wonderful crossover song into the positive country radio markets as well. I really think this song will touch a lot of lives.”
Jennifer resides in Travelers Rest, SC with her husband Travis and their 3 adopted children. You can learn more about Jennifer by visiting her online at http://www.jennifergrissopministries.com

Jennifer’s Bio:
Born July 18, 1983, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Jennifer began singing at age three. Heralding from a musical family, Jennifer’s dreams always included traveling and singing gospel music, following in her mother’s footsteps. At age nine, Jennifer accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and began a journey to fulfill God’s will for her life. Jennifer became the pianist at Terry Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church in May of 1995, when she was eleven years old.
In November of 1999, Jennifer met Travis Grissop. They began dating in May 2000 and were engaged on Valentine’s Day 2001. Travis and Jennifer were married on September 8, 2001 at Mountain Hill Community Church in Landrum, SC.
Travis and Jennifer could have never dreamed of the path God has chosen for their lives together. In January 2004, Jennifer was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), a diagnosis that meant Jennifer would never be a mother. Jeremiah 29:11 - 13 says “11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” As Jennifer and Travis began to seek God’s will for their life, and after many closed doors, they began the process to become foster parents, believing God would send the right children into their home. God sent the most beautiful baby girl into their lives, born August 19, 2004, Savannah LeAnne was nine weeks old the first time she met her mommy and daddy on October 26, 2004. Then, in November of 2005, God brought Randy Javon (JJ) into their lives, just in time for Thanksgiving. They definitely have much to be Thankful for. Travis and Jennifer thought their “forever” family was complete, but on September 19, 2006 Jennifer received a phone call that a three day old baby boy was available and could be theirs. Travis and Jennifer couldn’t resist and welcomed Michael Isaiah into their family. Although their family is not “typical”, there is no doubt that Travis and Jennifer are blessed with the most precious children this side of heaven.
Two thousand eight is sure to be an exciting year! Javon celebrated his 5th birthday on January 25 with a party at Monkey Joe’s Indoor Jumping Arena! He is having a blast in 4K at Tigerville and growing up much too fast!! Michael is talking and becoming such a little man!!! Savannah is 3 1/2 years old and bossing everyone around. She is quite a little lady. She and Javon have been singing with Mommy and very soon they’ll begin joining her on stage for a song at select concerts. “I’m excited to share the stage with two of the greatest kids in the world! I think you’ll like what they have to sing!” adds Jennifer. Travis and Jennifer would not change anything about the past six years… “God has given us a beautiful family and we are forever changed because of our children.”
Jennifer’s debut gospel album was released on December 15, 2007. “Wrapped In Love” features three original songs, including the title cut “Wrapped in Love”, which Jennifer wrote about her special gift from God… Savannah. The song is also Jennifer’s first national radio single release.
“I never carried you, for you grew in my heart; Not biological, but my child from the start; And in God’s master plan, He created you for me. I never carried you, but, God wrapped you up in love; gave you to me.”
Each time Jennifer steps onto the platform to minister, she sings under a heavy anointing. There is no doubt that she believes the message and most of all, in the God she is singing about. “I do not know what God has in store for my future, but, I know that wherever he leads me, I will go. I am so excited about exploring all the opportunities that God has in store for my ministry. My message will not change: ‘Salvation is free for all who believe. There is only one way into heaven: accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He has not changed. He still saves, heals and sets the captive free.”
Jennifer is currently scheduling dates for her debut “Wrapped In Love” Concert Tour, beginning January 1, 2008, with stops in 40+ cities across the USA! She would love to worship with you at your church or event.
