Pop Shares Heart for Every Nation on SGM Radio

Nashville, TN (August 26, 2008) – Dora Pop who released her debut-recording project, Who Am I, earlier this year, has returned from a mission trip to Hong Kong, China.  Pop, joined by a team of 19 individuals from the US in partnership with Brentwood Baptist Church, in Nashville, TN, was privileged to sing and teach at a Vacation Bible School at Clearwater Bay International Baptist Church in Hong Kong.

“What a blessing to be used by God clear across the world in a country so hungry for Christ,” stated Pop.  VBS was held at the facility the church currently meets in.  LifeWay’s 2008 VBS curriculum, Outrigger Island, was taught containing five biblical truths: God is Real; Jesus is God’s Son; Jesus is the only way; the Bible is God’s Word; and my actions show what I believe.  Visits were also made to the Inner City Ministry and the Home of Loving Faithfulness, a special needs orphanage.  Pop shared a special testimony of her Southern Gospel ministry on the last day when the truth of letting your actions show what you believe was taught.

Dora Pop was born in Oradea, Romania, and came to the United States at the age of two with her mother and sister.   Her father had fled the country when Dora was six months old to come to America and provide a better life, full of religious freedoms, for his family.   “I am living proof that God calls people of every nation to be a part of His kingdom,” stated Pop.  “Now, it is my turn to tell the story of Jesus to people of every nation.” Beginning in September, Pop will be writing for SGM Radio on her travels and her heart for “Every Nation.”

Pop began traveling with her ministry full time in April.
