The first official monthly “Radio Music Week Top 40 Chart” was released today that combines Americana, Christian Country and Southern Gospel into a single chart based on a point system which comes from the total number of monthly plays that a song receives based on the automated charting system from Radioactive Airplay. Southern Gospel Music’s Finest to Perform during Free City of Light Event

Janet Paschal, Jeff and Sheri Easter, and the Triumphant Quartet are just some of the artists slated for the live concert and “Gospel Music Southern Style” taping on July 1st and 2nd.
Indian Land, SC – Inspiration Ministries today announced that it will bring a line-up of popular Southern Gospel music artists to its City of Light campus on Thursday, July 1st and Friday, July 2nd for a free live concert and taping for the original television series “Gospel Music Southern Style.” Performances will be held each night at 7pm in the Inspiration Chapel on the City of Light campus in Lancaster County, SC. Doors open at 6pm each night and parking is free.
Scheduled to perform are:
· Thursday, July 1st: The Crist Family, the Dove Brothers, Janet Paschal, and the Bowling Family
· Friday, July 2nd: Mark Bishop, Karen Peck and New River, Jeff and Sheri Easter, and the Triumphant Quartet
Now in its ninth season, “Gospel Music Southern Style” is an original production of INSP – The Inspiration Network. The series features music and in-depth interviews with top artists in the Southern Gospel genre. Beloved Southern Gospel artists Jeff and Sheri Easter will serve as first-time hosts during the series’ upcoming season.
“’Gospel Music Southern Style’ is a viewer favorite,” said LeAnne Burnett Morse, Executive Producer of the series. “During the last eight seasons, our audience has shown tremendous loyalty to the traditional sounds and timeless message of these artists. Marion Illinois Musicians Get National Radio Attention

The Talley Trio and Wilmington Celebration Choir to Headline Inspiration Ministries Event

Free “Night of Worship” event is open to the public on Saturday, May 1st at Inspiration Chapel.
Indian Land, SC – Inspiration Ministries today announced that it will host a free “Night of Worship” event featuring award-winning Southern Gospel group the Talley Trio and the popular Wilmington Celebration Choir on Saturday, May 1st, beginning at 7 PM. The event will be held at the Inspiration Chapel, located in the International Prayer & Welcome Center on the City of Light campus in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The doors open at 6 PM, and parking is free.
The Talley Trio – which features husband and wife Roger and Debra Talley and their daughter, Lauren – are known for a unique, progressive sound that combines Southern Gospel with contemporary styles of Christian music. The group has enjoyed ten number one singles, with two streaks of consecutive chart toppers. Their songs and recordings have received many accolades, among them Dove Awards, Singing News Fan Awards, and BMI and SGN Music Awards. The Talleys perform in excess of 100 dates each year, ranging from churches, to the National Quartet Convention, and tours in South Africa, Norway, and Italy.
The Wilmington Celebration Choir is a professional Christian music choir based out of Wilmington, NC. The choir features more than 70 voices representing 19 different churches in Southeastern North Carolina. BROOKLYN, NY (March 22, 2010) - - Integrity Music announces the “Sing with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir Contest,” an opportunity for two fans to win a trip to New York to sing with the Grammy Award winning Gospel choir at the historic Brooklyn Tabernacle.
To enter, contestants should:

Fort Mill, South Carolina (RADIOACTIVE AIRPLAY) January 1st, 2010 - Gold City’s recording of “What Children Believe” has been announced at a joint press conference at The Broadcast Group Event Complex in Fort Mill, SC as the most added radio song of 2009. The song was written by James Isaac Elliot, Brent Lamb, and Jerry Salley and recorded by one of the most awarded quartets in Southern Gospel Music. The song found a home on the playlists of over 550 radio stations around the world since being released by New Haven Records.
