Oliver North Stops By Legacy Five’s Celebration

Hendersonville, TN (June 3, 2008) – Daywind recording artist, Legacy Five’s, Celebration, held on Memorial Day weekend, turned into an extraordinary treat when best-selling author, Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, (Iran Contra Figure) made a surprise visit. North spoke to over 2,000 attendees with heart and passion as he shared some insight about his new book, which is on the New York Times best sellers list, America Heroes.

Scott Fowler of Legacy Five had this to say about that special moment during the event. “What an honor it was to have Col. North at our Memorial Day event to help us celebrate the memory and sacrifice of our service men and women. Col. North did a great job of reminding everyone in attendance that we are so blessed as a nation to have great citizens and a great God. We are indeed a blessed nation. Thank you Col. North for reminding us of this fact.”

TRIBUTE QUARTET ADDS NEW VOCALIST

From the Nashville, TN office of the BSA/Beckie Simmons Agency, it was announced today the search is over to fill the position of tenor vocalist for TRIBUTE QUARTET.  Brian Alvey, 29, from Jasper, Indiana will be rounding out the group singing tenor. Some fans will recognize Brian from his time with the group Southern Sound.  Gary Casto, manager of TRIBUTE QUARTET states,  “we feel very strongly that the Lord has directed our steps in finding Brian to fill this position. Although there were numerous applications sent to our office and we are thankful for everyone who applied.  I was very impressed with his voice and talent, and I know our fans will also!  He has a wonderful musical ability that will be a great addition to the presentation of TRIBUTE QUARTET!”

The Pfeifers Sign Scheduling Agreement With The Dominion Agency

Great Passion Play Production Marks 5,000th Performance

EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. – The New Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs will hold its 5,000th performance Friday, May 23 at 8:30 p.m., as part of its 40th anniversary celebration season. 

More than 7.4 million people have seen the story of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection as told on an outdoor stage in the hills of the Ozark Mountains since the play opened in July 1968. 

“We’re so pleased to be able offer such grandiose and uplifting family entertainment here in the Ozarks Mountain of Arkansas,” said Keith Butler, chairman of the board of The Great Passion Play. 

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the play has been revamped with parables and text from different gospels in The New Testament, focusing on more miracles Christ performed in the days before his crucifixion and the days before his ascension. 

Those returning to see the play can still expect to find more than 150 actors and live animals on the 550-foot stage, but more than 90 percent of the scenes are new, along with the introduction of a new character – Satan.

DAILEY & VINCENT TOP BLUEGRASS UNLIMITED ALBUM CHART

NASHVILLE, TENN.  (May 20, 2008) - Acclaimed Rounder Records duo Dailey & Vincent top the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey album chart in the June issue with their self-titled debut.  The album first appeared on the chart in April at #4.

Wings of Grace Announces Group Changes

Greensboro, NC -  After traveling over 18 years as a ladies trio, Cheryl Hall, Tara Hart and Lindy Kirkman, (WINGS OF GRACE) have now expanded their family ministry.  After seeking God’s wisdom and guidance for their ministry since late 2007 they are excited to introduce their two new members: Frankie Hart from Browns Summit, NC, singing lead/baritone and Kerry McArthur from Greensboro, NC, singing lead/tenor. 

Frankie is the husband of Wings of Grace member, Tara Hart. We also would like to make welcome the McArthur family, Kerry’s wife Heather and their two boys, Caleb and Joseph, to our ministry.  Kerry, Heather and family have been family friends for many years.   Heather McArthur will be working with Cheryl Hall to schedule events for the group.

“Our ministry has been blessed over the last 18 years.
