Nashville, TN - Multi-talented singer, songwriter and pianist, Gordon Mote was among those honored at the 2008 SGN Music Awards Celebration, which took place April 29 at the River of Life Church in Smyrna, TN. Austins Bridge Takes Home A Dove

Hendersonville, Tenn. (April 28, 2008) - Daywind recording artist, Austins Bridge took home their first Dove Award for Bluegrass Recorded Song Of The Year, “He’s In Control,” at the 39th Annual Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards last Wednesday night. The show, held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, was broadcast live nationwide on the Gospel Music Channel television network and XM Satellite Radio.

The song is from their current album, Jesus Is Coming, which is nominated for two Dove awards, Country Album and Country Recorded Song.

RICHIE MCDONALD ATTENDS NRB IN SUPPORT OF NEW CD

While attending the events, McDonald hooked up with Radio & Records Christian Editor, Kevin Peterson, for an interview that will run close to the June 3 release date for the new album.

LULU ROMAN AND FREE SPIRIT AGENCY REACH EXCLUSIVE MANAGEMENT AND BOOKING AGREEMENT

lulu110x110.jpgLulu Roman, star of the hit television show Hee Haw, and Dove Award winning singer/songwriter has entered into an exclusive management and booking agreement with Free Spirit Agency. “Lulu is an annointed singer and we are thrilled to have her as a part of our family of artists,” says Terry Dorsey, owner of Free Spirit Agency. “We have some new and exciting things upcoming for Ms. Roman.”

New recording projects are being produced that include new material as well as new arrangements of some of Lulu’s biggest hits. A concert DVD is in the works along with a major tour which is soon to be announced.

“I am happy to be working with the Free Spirit Agency.” says Lulu Roman. “This association is bringing about some new things for my ministry and I am looking forward to what God has in store for us.”
