Hendersonville, TN (September 17, 2008) – Daywind Records’ recording artist, the Booth Brothers had an unforgettable evening at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY on Saturday, September 13, as the group took home several of the major awards for the evening. This incredibly talented and wonderfully personable trio continues to take Gospel music by storm.
The group took home six awards in all. They included Favorite Tenor (Michael Booth), Favorite Lead (Ronnie Booth), Favorite Album (Carry On), Favorite Trio, and Favorite Artist, the top award given. The group also received the award for Song of the Year for “Look For Me,” which they performed with just their voices and a piano.
Daywind Records president, Ed Leonard, expressed his joy for this deserving group. “The Booth Brothers have come into their own as one of the premier groups in Gospel music. Their family at Daywind is very proud of their accomplishments.”
