The Nelons Capture Radio Music FM and Radio Music AM Top 100 Charts For September
After spending three consecutive weeks at Number 1 on both the Radio Music FM and Radio Music AM charts, it should come as no surprise that The Nelons and their latest hit single “My Father’s House” would also capture the September Top 100 Radio Music Charts.
The song penned by writers Sam Mizell and Kip Fox has seen a tremendous response from radio stations and music programmers and debuted at Number 1.
According to Radio Music Group spokesman Charles Brady; “This is one of those songs that just gets locked into your mind and you find yourself singing it all day long. The unique blending of wonderful family harmony by The Nelons is just hard to beat! The Nelons have certainly evolved into one of Gospel Music’s premier family groups and Amber and Autumn have grown into two incredibly talent young ladies. They really shine in this latest hit song.”
Brady went on to add; “After supplying music to radio stations for almost ten years and weekly charting those results you begin to see a pattern when a real hit song shows up. After charting at Number 1 for a week you know a song is good. If it makes it until week two you have a great song on your hands. If the song holds on for three consecutive weeks in our system then you can bet you have a certified hit song! It rarely ever happens that a song makes it to week three and most of the top songs only stay at the top of chart for two weeks. At the time of this article the Nelons have gone past that three week marker and have captured both monthly Top 100 Charts and are still at Number 1.”
Congratulations again to The Nelons, Daywind Records and to songwriters Sam Mizell and Kip Fox for supplying such a great uplifting and life-changing hit song for radio!
