This Saturday, April 19, we will be having a one-day Singing School, hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Gospel Singers Association, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Eastside Christian Union Church in Springdale (on Butterfield Coach Road next to Harp’s Food Store). Teaching in the morning and singing in the afternoon.
Lunch will be served and donations accepted to raise funds for the Singing School that will be held this coming Summer (It’s a week long school!).
Hope to see you there,

***Just a note of interest - Mrs. Virginia played for the Weatherford Quartet, and is the great pianist that plays each year for the opening songs at the Brumley Singing! She’s awesome!***

PTL Friday’s coming!
April 3, 2008
I have to admit that I have been busier than any ten people should ever have to be over the past several weeks and I have had to miss out on some wonderful events. That ends Friday!!!
Friday afternoon I am shutting the doors early and Rosie & I will head to the Reynolds Auditorium in Winston Salem, NC for what will be a spectacular night of gospel music as The Hoppers & The Hopper Brothers & Connie takes the stage for a very special event. It is being billed as a Fan Appreciation Night and it is being presented by Ray Flynn Ministries & The Hoppers as a special thank-you for all the fans for their support of The Hoppers & Ray Flynn’s ministries over the years.
To get in you don’t even need a ticket! Just a simple five dollar donation at the door will get you into the Reynolds Auditorium for this wonderful night. I sure hope you get to be there because I know you will be missing out on a great night of music & ministry.
I’m especially excited about hearing the brothers getting together again & they can still after all these years sing the glory down & to watch the interaction between Claude and his brothers is a special treat within itself. This is how it all started over 50 years ago and I think it is remarkable that these men can still “bring it” when they take to the stage.
I’m also really excited about hearing these great new songs from the Hoppers latest project “The Ride.” Rosie & I had the chance to visit The Farm Studio when Lari Goss was working with the Hoppers on this project and the songs are just unbelievable. You just will not want to miss this great evening with America’s Favorite Family of Gospel Music! I couldn’t begin to name off all the accolades and awards this family has been honored to receive but believe me it is a very, very long list!
The Hoppers have spent the past 50+ years traveling and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in song and their ministry just gets sweeter & sweeter with every passing year.
So bring your shouting shoes and five bucks and duck out of the rain into the Reynolds Auditorium Friday night! Something tells me that since this is a Ray Flynn event that the sweet presence of the rain of the Spirit of the Lord will be falling all over the place! I want to be there! I hope I get to see YOU!!!!
